Francisco, better known as Chico, is the personification of Satan. He is the king and master of a very distant place that is deep underground. His first appearance is when he encourages Miko to stab himself, promising eternal salvation in paradise, but it is a farce. Chico actually wanted to steal the boy's soul. But for now, Chico only disturbs Miko's soul and conscience, usually by manipulating him.

Chico's biggest plan is to kill Otis for now since Otis is the most Catholic man in the world, this means that he is Chico's worst enemy. Fact: Chico and Otis know each other and it was Chico who gouged out one of Otis' eyes and disfigured his face.
